Endurica Privacy Policy

1. Scope

This policy applies to the Endurica iOS app, Apple Watch app, and Endurica widgets.

2. Data We Collect

Endurica is designed to work primarily with on-device data. Depending on features you use and permissions you grant, Endurica may process:

• Profile and training setup data (goals, schedule, benchmarks, preferences)
• Workout and training logs (planned sessions, completed sessions, sets/reps, pace, distance, duration, notes)
• Health and fitness data from Apple Health/HealthKit (for example: workouts, heart rate, HRV, resting heart rate, sleep-related metrics, and date of birth if permission is granted)
• Location data during runs (to calculate pace, distance, and route-based run metrics)
• Device/app diagnostics and error events (limited technical telemetry)
• Notification preferences and local app settings

3. How We Use Data

We use data to:

• Generate and adapt your training plan
• Provide workout guidance on iPhone and Apple Watch
• Calculate training load, recovery, and progress insights
• Sync workout state across iPhone, Apple Watch, and widgets
• Send workout reminders and related notifications (if enabled)
• Monitor app stability and diagnose failures

4. Health Data and Apple Health

If you connect Apple Health, Endurica can read and/or write HealthKit data based on permissions you approve.

• Health data is used for app functionality (training, recovery, and progress features)
• You can revoke Health permissions at any time in Apple Health / iOS Settings
• If permission is denied, Endurica continues to work with reduced functionality

5. Location Data

If you allow location access, Endurica uses location while running workouts to measure pace and distance. You can disable location permissions at any time in iOS Settings.

6. Notifications

If enabled, Endurica uses notification permissions to deliver workout reminders and training alerts. You can disable notifications in iOS Settings or in-app settings.

7. Storage and Retention

• Training and app data is stored locally on your device using Apple frameworks
• Some data is shared locally between app/watch/widgets via Apple App Group storage
• We retain locally stored data until you delete it, reset app data, or uninstall the app

Endurica includes in-app reset/delete controls for local data management.

8. Sharing and Disclosure

• We do not sell your personal data.
• We do not share your health/workout data with data brokers.
• Limited technical event data may be processed by our diagnostics provider (TelemetryDeck) to help us monitor crashes and reliability.
• We may disclose data only when required by law, legal process, or to protect rights, safety, and security.

9. Tracking and Advertising

Endurica does not use cross-app tracking for advertising and does not use your data for third-party targeted advertising.

10. Third-Party Services

Endurica relies on Apple platform services and may use third-party SDKs for diagnostics. Current integrations may include:

• Apple HealthKit
• Apple UserNotifications
• Apple Watch Connectivity / WidgetKit
• Apple EventKit (calendar sync, only if you connect a calendar)
• Strava (only if you connect a Strava account to upload completed workouts)
• TelemetryDeck (diagnostics)

These providers process data according to their own terms and privacy policies.

11. Your Choices

You can control data use by:

• Not connecting Apple Health
• Revoking HealthKit permissions
• Revoking location permissions
• Disabling notifications
• Using in-app reset/delete options
• Uninstalling the app

12. Children

Endurica is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

13. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect data handled by Endurica. No system can be guaranteed 100% secure.

14. International Users

If you use Endurica outside your home country, your data may be processed where you use the app and where service providers operate.

15. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post updates at this URL and update the Effective date above.
